AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS SHALL CONTRACT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO ESTABLISH A WORK PROGRAM FOR DATA PROCESSING ENTRY AT THE CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI CORRECTIONAL FACILITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Department of Corrections shall contract with the Department of Economic and Community Development for a training and work program for inmates to perform data processing entry at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
